Charlotte's Smiles was set up to provide fun activities and parties for children with cancer.

Our aim is to give the children something to smile about when they are well and something to look forward to when they are ill. Any child under 15 who has been diagnosed or treated with any cancer or leukaemia in the past four years and who lives in or around Leicester is eligible to register.

Charlotte's Smiles is dedicated to the memory of Charlottes Coates who sadly died aged 6 years in December 2006.

Charlotte like most children with life limiting cancer, fought her cancer bravely. She had many unpleasant treatments but always managed to keep cheerful. She rarely complained and in-between her treatments she enjoyed family parties and outings always with a smile. One of Charlotte's most memorable features was her smile.
